The flight went alright, ryanair may be the cheapest flight company in europe but it surely isn't much else… the seats are really tight and unconfortable, you have to pay for all but the air you breathe -so far- and the crew are usually unfriendly. A few company policies we have to point out, first and foremost tha fact that'd be better to have a higher starting price and a discount for taking less luggage, for instance, rather than the other way round.
dublin welcomed us with a timid sun, then with a downpour. our friend Philippa came and greet us at the airport and we went to their home where we met her partner and daughter. the house is very cosy, and we had a nice homecooked meal and a chat, after a long time we didn't see each other.
they don't seem to make such an extensive use of fitting carpets here. floors are normally wooden and we're sleeping on a fouton in a room full of books :)
if tomorrow it keeps on raining we'll hit some museums. it's been quite along day so … goodnight!
