Walk - 15.01.2022

A nice walk up mount Pietraborga, gave me some nice vievs ðŸ˜Œ

the woods in winter have a magic aura...

a 'lovely' SMOG-CAP can be seen above Turin...

here's the top of the hill - going further up the mountain there's a trail to top.

The walk this morning revealed some frosty patches here and there, and some beautiful frosty items...

Second snow

03-02-2015

some snow had gathered in the flag...
Well, not quite the snowstorm of the century they predicted... but just a few droplets of polystyrene snow - sprinkled down this morning.

Now it's mid-afternoon and it started snowing again, but it's very wet stuff and not really sticking anywhere. Perhaps when the temperatures drop tonight we'll get some more fluffy stuff ;-)

:-)

it really looks like polystyrene balls...

First snow

30 January 2015

I've not been "out" or "about" this time, but just took some pics from my window  :-D
This is the first snow over here for this year... I just LOVE to hear the creaking sound snow makes under my shoes when I walk on it!

Enjoy  :-)

Just dawning

Mt. Pietraborga, Sangano

06/01/2014

Nice hillwalk on the Mount Pietraborga this morning, just behind the house (to which I’ll refer to from now on as “base-camp”). No need to move the car – feet only :)

The day was nice and sunny, and pretty warm too – although we went out with a thick fleece, we soon removed them as it was pretty ok to walk in our jumpers (Rosie had only a T-shirt, actually). We stopped near the top of our climb, which wasn’t the top of the mountain, though, and had a fruity break, where we also met a weird insect I had never seen before:

… and some weird vegetation:
